Streamline Your Trading: The Benefits of Automation

Today, we want to dive into a topic that's close to every trader's heart: automated trading.

vfxAlert auto trade feature analyzes market data, execute trades automatically based on predefined criteria.

Traders can set specific rules and conditions for buying or selling options, and the automated system will act accordingly.

Auto trade helps traders to avoid emotional decisions that may lead to losses. It allows for trading to occur 24/7 without the need for constant monitoring by a human trader.

Backtesting is an important feature of automated trading, allowing traders to test their strategies on historical data before risking real money.

Let's look at how it works.

To get started, connect with a broker.  Set up signal preset and conditions for automatic trading.  Then enable Auto Trade.

Signal preset:

  • Choose assets:  EURUSD, USDJPY;
  • expiry time - 15m.
  • Algorithm: Adaptive
  • Signal power: 3,4,5
  • Amount: no more than 1-3% of the deposit, then you can increase it if the market allows.

Conditions for automatic trading:

Auto Trade OTC strategy.

  1. Download vfxAlert for Windows or Mac OS
  2. Connect with a Pocket Option
  3. Set up signal preset
  •  Trading Asset: Forex OTC assets: GBPJPY OTC,  EURGBP OTC
  •  Expiration: 15m
  •  Algorithm: Trending
  •  Power: 3,4,5
  •  Amount: no more than 1-3% of the deposit, then you can increase it if the market allows.

Trends predict the market's likely direction for the next 10-15 bars based on the chosen timeframe. For auto trade settings indicator values range from 0 to 10. A value of 0 represents the strongest downtrend, while 10 represents the strongest.

Trend indicators should be confirmed by at least one oscillator indicating an overbought condition when buyers can no longer move the price up or oversold, where there is almost no one in the market to sell at lower prices. Use RSI.

4. Set up conditions for automatic trading:

      ⬆️ CALL Option: Trends >=8, RSI> 70

      ⬇️ PUT Option: Trends <= 2, RSI< 30

5.  Enable Auto Trade.  Remember, the auto trade opens deals only according to the conditions you set. He does not see candle patterns, does not read the news, does not analyze past trades. Always follow strict money management, periodically check the result. Pause auto trade if there are several losing trades in a row.

Binary options trading strategy «Follow the Money»

Beginners often install many indicators, arrows and alerts on the chart, believing that this will help them make the right decision. However, contrary to popular belief, bombarding oneself with excessive information doesn't necessarily translate into improved trading results. In fact, simplicity often proves to be the key to achieving stable profits in this arena. Instead of drowning in a sea of complex indicators and signals, use strategy focuses on a few simple yet powerful tools to guide trading decisions, example:

  • Parabolic SAR. Determine the direction of the short and medium-term trend. Indicator points are below the price and directed up - an uptrend. Higher prices and directed downward - a downtrend.
  • Donchian Channel (DC) − the horizontal direction of the DC lines confirms the presence of a flat, the breakdown of center lines will be the binary signal of its end. If the range is wide enough, you can open options to roll back from the borders. This method is recommended only for experienced traders!
  • Vortex. The indicator consists of two lines showing the direction and strength of the trend. By default, the uptrend (viPlus) line is green, for the downtrend (viMinus) it is red. The line at the top shows which trend is currently on the market. The beginning of the flat will be the intertwining of lines as in "Alligator" followed by a horizontal movement.

Use vfxAlert to finally confirm the signal and open the trade in one click. To download vfxAlert signals, click here.

Options trading signals:

  • CALL option. The price is above the P-SAR and the Donchian middle line. On Vortex, the viPlus line is higher than the viMinus line - there are more uptrend buyers on the market.
  • PUT option. Opposite auto binary signals: The price is below the Parabolic and Donchian Channels middle line. Vortex shows dominance of buyers - viMinus are higher than viPlus.

Cross pairs

Unlike major currency pairs, which include the USD as one of the currencies (such as EUR/USD or USD/JPY), cross pairs involve two other major currencies traded against each other. For instance, EUR/GBP or AUD/JPY are examples of cross pairs.

Cross pairs offer traders the opportunity to diversify their portfolios and capitalize on currency movements without involving the US dollar.

Watch video on how to trade cross pairs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVaPM4JPZ24

Factors influencing currency movements such as economic data , central bank policies, geopolitical events, and market sentiment all play a role in determining the exchange rates of cross pairs.

One advantage of trading cross pairs is the potential for diversification. By incorporating currencies from different regions, traders can spread their risk and reduce their exposure to specific economic or political events affecting one country or currency. For example, if a trader believes that the Euro will strengthen against the British Pound, they can go long on EUR/GBP without needing to consider the US dollar's performance.

However, it's essential to note that cross pairs may exhibit lower liquidity, particularly during off-peak trading hours. This can result in higher trading costs and increased volatility, which may not be suitable for all traders, especially those with smaller trading accounts.

Harami Cross

The Harami Cross is a candlestick pattern used in technical analysis to signal potential trend reversals in financial markets. This pattern is considered significant because it suggests a possible change in market sentiment.

Here's how the Harami Cross pattern typically forms:

  • First Candlestick: The first candlestick is a large one, which represents the existing trend in the market. For instance, if the market is in an uptrend, the first candlestick will be bullish (green). If the market is in a downtrend, the first candlestick will be bearish (red).

  • Second Candlestick: The second candlestick is smaller and is contained within the range of the first candlestick. It often has a much smaller body, and it can be either bullish or bearish.

  • Cross Formation: The second candlestick opens and closes within the range of the previous candlestick, resulting in a cross-like appearance. Hence, the term "Harami Cross" is derived.

!! Like all technical analysis tools, the Harami Cross should be used in conjunction with other forms of analysis and risk management strategies. Use vfxAlert to finally confirm the signal and open the trade in one click.   To download vfxAlert signals, click here.

The interpretation of the Harami Cross pattern depends on the market context:

Bullish Harami Cross: This pattern occurs during a downtrend. The first candlestick is bearish, followed by a smaller bullish candlestick contained within the body of the previous candlestick. It suggests that selling pressure may be weakening, and a potential bullish reversal could occur.

Bearish Harami Cross: This pattern occurs during an uptrend. The first candlestick is bullish, followed by a smaller bearish candlestick contained within the body of the previous candlestick. It suggests that buying pressure may be weakening, and a potential bearish reversal could occur.

Traders often use additional technical indicators or analysis to confirm the signals provided by the Harami Cross pattern before making trading decisions.

Rainbow Moving Average

When contemplating ways to profit from binary options, newcomers often focus on learning trending strategies.

The Rainbow Moving Average indicator can provide a comprehensive picture of market trends. It uses a set of color-coded moving averages. This allows the complex task of technical analysis to be turned into a simpler process.

RMA is a fusion of multiple Simple Moving Averages (SMAs), each representing a different timeframe. The beauty lies in the colors associated with each SMA, creating a visual rainbow on your charts. Short-term trends get warmer colors, while longer-term trends adopt cooler hues.

RMA excels at helping traders spot trends by smoothing out price data. When the short-term lines soar above the long-term ones, it signals a potential uptrend, and vice versa.

When the price breaks the RMA from bottom to top or goes into the “cloud” of the indicator, this indicates an upward trend and you can open a call option. If the conditions are opposite - the price is below all moving averages or goes into the “cloud” from top to bottom, we open the put option.

It's important, trend tools, even with different parameters, cannot be a decisive factor in opening a new option. It is recommended to receive additional confirmation  such as from vfxAlert binary signal software , which correctly take into account the appearance of overbought/oversold situations and the dynamics of volatility.
